Life for Neil outside of work is just as busy as Neil is pioneering a new church and community venture in his hometown of Blackpool. Blackpool, although famous for its family holiday resort status is nonetheless, in the top 10% of the countries most deprived areas, with many social needs. Neil’s motto is “We can’t do everything but we can do something!”
Away from work, Chris loves rugby, skiing, being in the mountains or on a boat and of course his family; wife Becki, three children Emily, Henry and Imogen plus their mad labradoodle Heston.
Away from work, Mark loves sport (watching and playing), fishing, web development and anything involving computers. Mark enjoys travelling to interesting places and learning about different cultures.
Away from work Kathryn enjoys long walks in the countryside, singing, exhibiting her father’s engines at Steam Engine Rally’s as well as camping, caravanning and boating holidays.
Away from work, Paul loves spending time with his wife and three children. Paul enjoys all sports and has a particular interest in rugby, cricket and golf. Paul is a season ticket holder at Ulster Rugby which is a big passion of his. He also has a keen interest in golf.
Away from work, Jon is keen on a variety of sports and enjoys spending time with his family and walking their mischievous labradoodle, Monty.
Suk Gill has over a 12 years’ experience in sales, people management and training within the Financial Services industry. He brings a wealth of real-life sales experience having created and led strong sales teams in the past. He now dedicates his time to putting all of his experience, passion and enthusiasm into training others. More recently Suk has been running various Sales training programmes, both in the UK and Internationally.
Outside of work Suk has a strong passion for Tennis, having played to a National level in the UK. Suk is a qualified Tennis coach and spends his spare time coaching groups and individuals. Suk is also a keen traveller, he’s been to 35 different countries and doesn’t plan to stop there.
Jon Curry has worked as a professional rugby coach for the last 25 years. In that time, Jon coached individuals and teams to excellence, with a focus on understanding, identification and development of talent. He has helped both players and coaches realise their potential and become world class. Jon now shares his insights into coaching, talent development and team dynamics with our business clients at both leadership events, change programmes, skills workshops and through 1-2-1 executive coaching. Our business clients really value the unique and highly transferable insights Jon brings from the world of elite sport, his pragmatic yet hugely impactful style and his ability to laser in on the critical need area. Jon is currently completing his Master’s Degree in Coaching. Jon has worked most notably with Leicester Tigers and Northampton Saints in England and Ciencias Sevilla and the Spanish national side in Spain. Understanding and creating strong cultures are a passion for him.
Away from work, Jon likes watching live rugby in the winter, swimming and diving in the summer. Throughout the year he enjoys reading actual paper books, golf and the gym.
Alison Wilkinson has spent 34 years in Financial Services holding many positions predominantly in the High Net Worth arena. Over the past 15 years Alison has been advising and tailoring financial solutions to meet client’s needs, most recently specialising in Occupational Pension Schemes. Alison also applies this expertise in the training room, where she is an expert facilitator.
Away from work Alison loves spending time with her husband Gary, family and friends. Alison spends most weekends outdoors as she is a keen cyclist and runner. One of her favourite places is the Yorkshire Dales where she has completed the Yorkshire 3 peaks. Skiing is also a passion. The Morzine area of France is a particular favourite place as it not only has a wide range of runs to suit all abilities but plenty of après ski!!!.
Paul Morgan joined the financial services industry in 2000, joining the UK’s most productive sales force. Since then, he has gone on to work for some of the most well-known UK financial services providers as both an IFA and a tied advisor, in a variety of sales, line management and training roles – attaining Chartered Financial Planner Status in 2007. More recently Paul has joined Bigrock to work as a consultant, work he combines with running his own financial planning practice.
Away from work, Paul loves spending time with his wife, young family and trying to capture those moments with his recently acquired interest in photography.
Colin Milne has past the last 25 years working in Financial Services, Sales and Sales Management, working for product providers and as an Independent. Since 2008, Colin has focussed on training consultancy, design and delivery for a wide range of organisations.
Away from work, Colin is an enthusiastic gastronome which fortunately is a passion shared by his wife and family. Keeping fit and battling various golf courses in West Sussex helps him offset the negative effects of his dining excesses.
Sarah Curtis has enjoyed a wonderfully unstructured career rambling through retail management, horticulture, financial advice, training & training management, coaching, child care, garden design & restoration, management development and more. The consistent threads have been people and growth. Along the way Sarah has studied and gained qualifications in many different aspects of people development.
Away from work, Sarah can usually be found: ‘in the garden’, or out walking, or reading a book, or cooking, or travelling…..lots and lots of travelling.
Shane Ivers, after receiving his MMus at the University of Liverpool in 2014, Shane set up a small home studio, and a website to market his compositions. He also worked in a local secondary school as a data manager, running their website, and teaching music technology. This together with his University experience solidified his learning background. Shane honed his web design, development, and SEO skills while creating his website before joining the team at Bigrock in early 2017. Shane contributes to the digital aspects within Bigrock including web design, app development, production of learning material, sound engineering, and graphics.
Away from work, Shane enjoys eating food, composing music, playing guitar & piano, singing, and spending time with friends & family.
